A personal project of mine: bird portraits painted on their description in a vintage bird guide inherited from my grandparents. This assortment contains 6 birds, each of a different species-family. I used Sumi Ink and Chinese watercolor to paint directly on the entry page.
Includes: Common Loon, Robin, Mountain Quail, Red Shafted Flicker, Phalarope, and Common Nighthawk (Nighthawk has bonus art on the back of the note card).
